Ingredients (for 2):

  • 140g 60% chocolate
  • 100g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 40g sugar
  • 40g self raising flour

Steps:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Mix 140g of chocolate and 100g of butter in a hot water bath, set aside for it to cool down.
  3. Whisk 2 eggs and 40g of sugar, and pour into the mixture of molten chocolate and butter.
  4. Sieve 40g of self raising flour into the mixture,  mix well.
  5. Pour the batter into the mould, bake at 200° for 10mins.
Tips
  • Alternatively, bake at 200° for 8mins using an air fryer.
  • The batter can be pre-prepared and stored in the fridge. Before baking, take the cake batter out and wait for its temperature to raise to room temperature.
  • A muffin tray can be used as the mould.
  • To facilitate taking the cake out of the mould, line the mould with baking paper.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream:)
