Ingredients:
- 150g walnuts (optional)
- 250g 70% dark chocolate
- 220g unsalted butter
- 380g sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 pinch fine salt
- 150g plain flour
- 150g Lotus Biscoff spread

Steps:
- Chop 150g of walnuts into smaller pieces.
- Melt and mix 250g of chocolate and 220g of unsalted butter in a hot water bath.
- Add 380g of sugar, 6 eggs and a pinch of salt to the mixture, mix well.
- Sieve in 150g of plain flour, mix well.
- Fold the chopped walnuts into the mixture.
- Melt 150g of Lotus Biscoff spread.
- Pour half of the mixture into a baking tray.
- Pour 2/3 of the molten Lotus Biscoff spread evenly onto the base layer of the brownie batter.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top of the Lotus Biscoff layer.
- Swirl in the remaining molten Lotus Biscoff spread on the top layer.
- Bake at 170°C for about 25mins.
Tips
This recipe works for classic brownies too! Just omit the steps involving Lotus Biscoff spread.
