Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
- 200g unsalted butter
- 200g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3g salt
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 320g plain flour
- 3g baking powder
- 2g bicarbonate of soda
- 300g chocolate chips

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 190°C.
- Smooth 200g of softened unsalted butter with a spatula.
- Add 200g of sugar, mix well.
- Add in 2 eggs one at a time, mix after each addition.
- Add 3g of salt and 1tsp of vanilla extract, mix well.
- Sieve in 320g of plain flour, 3g of baking powder and 2g of bicarbonate of soda, mix well.
- Add 300g of chocolate chips into the dough, mix well.
- Refrigerate the dough for 30mins.
- Use a cookie scoop or your hands to form smaller balls of dough, place the dough onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 190°C for 12mins.
Tips
- A mixture of dark chocolate chips and white chocolate chips can be used to enhance the flavour.
- For the cookies I made, each of them weighed about 80g.
